Profhilo | Recommendation
Due to its gel-like consistency, Profhilo is distributed smoothly and evenly without forming lumps – a potential danger with traditional fillers. This means that it can be used in areas that are difficult to treat with traditional fillers, such as the neck and forehead.
Profhilo can be used on the face, neck, décolleté, hands, neck, neck and arms. and knees or any part of the body where the skin shows visible signs of aging. Profhilo contains one of the highest concentrations of stabilized hyaluronic acid.
Treatment |
Profhilo can be used alone or in combination with other fillers, laser treatments or Botox as a complementary and not as a competitive treatment.
There is no recovery time. It is recommended not to consume alcohol, aspirin or anti-inflammatories medicines for 24 hours before treatment. Immediately after the treatment, make-up and any intense physical activity is prohibited for 24 hours, saunas and steam baths are also prohibited for a few days after the treatment.
Risks |
There are no long-term side effects. Profhilo is fully metabolized by the body. An allergy test is not required before treatment. The risk of allergic reactions is significantly reduced because Profhilo does not contain synthetic chemicals to which some people may react. Some people may experience redness, slight bruising, tenderness as well as itching at the injection sites, but these were temporary and should subside within a few hours to a day.
Contraindications |
Patients with bleeding disorders or a weakened immune system due to, for example, infectious diseases, cancer, HIV or diabetes should consult their doctor before taking Profhilo. Cosmetic injectable treatments are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
